The Millarville Christmas Market – Alberta

October 22, 2012 in Crochet flowers

Established in 1988, The Millarville Christmas Market is one of the premier craft and artisan shows in Alberta. For three days you can enjoy delicious food from jams to baking to caramel corn and fantastic local meat products as well as hay rides, pony rides and carolers. We even warmed ourselves with chestnuts roasting on an open fire though kids preferred the s’mores stand! Here you’ll find a treasure trove of ideas for Christmas gifts – handmade, unique decorations, wreaths, stockings and ornaments and one-of-a kind gifts from an array of talented artists and crafts people. We saw jewelry, glass, paintings, stained glass, pottery, quilting, knitting, sewing, hats, mitts and scarves as well as beautiful woodworking and woodturning. We chatted with the photographers and writers whose calendars and books are available and learned a lot about everything from honey bees to natural-based beauty products. Find out more at
