Using your crochet hook, crochet up a butterfly stitch scarf that leaves open holes. With the open holes, feed in a regular scarf with a weaving formation. The Crochet scarf will hold the regular scarf and add an extra element of glamour to your wardrobe. This is a fashion scarf and relatively cheap to create. This makes a great gift for a friend and inexpensive at the same time.
Tired of making plain tubes on your addi express try this lovely scarf. Using the addi express professional machine, knit in the round approx 600 rows (short scarf) using light weight yarn, I used 3ply knitting machine yarn for this example. Grab a crochet hook and start hooking. You can create this beautiful spiral scarf in about 1 hour. To finish the ends just sew through the last/first crochet loop to the gathered ends and voila. Great for any season. Enjoy xxx

After a few requests – Part 2 is below Making a potholder using the weaving loom. This one is plastic, I prefer the older metal or wood weaving looms. Materials needed: Loom, Crochet hook, material loops (30-32). Stretch loops across the loom, filling all the pegs. The cross weaving is done by pushing the hook through the loops under and then over each set of loops, hooking over the peg at each end. To finish the edges, begin at one corner and slip several loops off the pegs, slip loop two through loop one, then loop three through loop two, then loop four through loop three. Continue all around, leaving the last loop for hanging. There are other ways to finish the edge but this is the one I chose Music: Radio Martini Kevin MacLeod, Royalty Free Music incompetech.com All music and graphics used Royalty free and licensed under Creative Commons “Attribution 3.0″ creativecommons.org All items I bought with my own money or were gifts from family/friends.
